I, like everyone else in the galaxy, love Star Wars. There's just something so uplifting and universal about the film franchise. I've loved these films for as long as I can remember, and the new installment followed suit and marched straight into my heart. I really enjoyed The Force Awakens and whilst feeling crafty, I decided to mix my love of knitting and Star Wars together.
For my very first time knitting whilst following a pattern and changing colors, I'm quite proud about how well this turned out. And the best part is that you can make this too! The pattern is courtesy of Mrs. Luedeke over on Ravelry, and it's available for free! Loads of people have done this with loads of different colors, but I loved the look of the black, white, and red.
I feel like there's something special about wearing something you've made yourself. Any fellow knitters out there? Any DIY fiends?
